Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary health therapy, based on the theory that different points
on the feet, correspond with different areas of the body. Treatments are usually given on the feet, however for those 'squeamish' about having their feet touched; hands may be used
instead! Reflexologists work holistically with their clients and aim to work alongside allopathic/medical healthcare to promote better health for their clients.
With ever increasing levels of stress in everyday life, it is important for people to take more responsibility for thier own healthcare needs. Reflexology may be one of the ways to
mitigate the stresses of modern life!
Who can benefit?
Almost anyone! Reflexology is a holistic therapy, treating the individual as a whole on all levels; mind, body and spirit. Reflexology can be received by anyone at any age, from
newborn babies to those receiving end of life care, and everyone inbetween. It may aid the treatment of a variety of conditions by aiding sleep, helping relieve tension, improving mood and also
a sense of wellbeing. There is also some suggestion that reflexology may aid:
- Stress-related conditions
- Back pain
- Fertility issues

Reflexology does not take the place of conventional medicine; always consult a GP for an acute or infectious condition, and problems of urgent concern.
